Head of President’s Office hopes Vatican will continue to support Ukraine
Andrii Yermak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has held a meeting with journalists from the Vatican and representatives of Catholic media.

Details: At the meeting, Yermak answered questions concerning relations between Ukraine and the Vatican and spoke about the contribution that Pope Francis could make to put an end to the unjust war started by Russia.
Yermak expressed appreciation for Pope Francis’ recent statements about the Ukrainian nation as a martyred people which is suffering from the brutality of the invading forces.
He reminded the public that the Pope has directly stated that the Russian state is an invader.
Quote: "Pope Francis has a strong weapon - the faith of the people and the Word of God - and our country needs it badly. We hope that he will support Ukraine on its path to a just peace."
