Ukrainian National Guard takes Wagner Group mercenary in captivity near Avdiivka

Intelligence officers of Ukrainian National Guard took a militant from Wagner Group [a Russian private military company] in captivity near the city of Avdiivka [Donetsk Oblast].

Details: The National Guard also informs that as a result of intense fighting, its units have successfully destroyed two tanks, four infantry fighting vehicles, one self-propelled artillery system, as well as the military personnel on the Bakhmut front. The determined positions were held back in close cooperation with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Over this period of time, artillery units of the National Guard have successfully executed nearly 200 fire missions targeting Russian forces and technical equipment on the Kharkiv, Bakhmut and Zaporizhzhia fronts.
