Russians carried out 10 missile and 33 airstrikes and fired 75 times from multiple-launch rocket systems on 6 December. Residential buildings and other civilian facilities were damaged by Russian missiles in the cities of Kramatorsk (Donetsk Oblast) and Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast), as well as in the village of Stepne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).

The General Staff has pointed out that a threat of Russian missile attacks on the energy system and critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine remains.

There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts; no signs of forming offensive hostile groups were detected. Russian units keep being deployed and trained in the polygons of Belarus. This country continues supporting armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine by giving its territory and airspace for launching missiles and airstrikes.

The report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine highlights that dissatisfaction with the military and political leadership of Belarus’ actions among servicemen of State Border Service and Armed Forces of this country increases because of the risk of getting the republic involved in the war with Ukraine.

On the Sivershchyna front, the Russians fired on the settlements of Hremiach (Chernihiv Oblast) and Esman, Pavlivka, Kindrativka, Zapsillia and Myropillia (Sumy Oblast) from artillery systems and mortars.

On the Slobozhanshchyna front, areas in and around the vicinities of Strilecha, Krasne, Ternova, Ohirtseve, Starytsia, Hatyshche, Vovchanski Hutory, Volokhivka, Chuhunivka and Kamianka in Kharkiv Oblast were attacked with tanks, mortars and tubed artillery.

On the Kupiansk front, the Russians are on the defensive. They used tanks and the whole spectrum of artillery to fire on Dvorichna, Kupiansk, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, Pishchane, Berestove and Pershotravneve (Kharkiv Oblast) and Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast).

On the Lyman front, the invaders hit the areas of Makiivka, Ploshchanka and Nevske (Luhansk Oblast) and Terny, Yampolivka and Lyman (Donetsk Oblast).

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the invaders are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive operations. Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Druzhba, Zalizne, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast came under fire from tanks, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery.

On the Novopavlivka front, the Russians are on the defensive. They used artillery and mortars to attack the areas of Vuhledar, Bohoiavlenka, Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva (Donetsk oblast).

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the occupiers are trying to improve their tactical position. They fired from tanks, mortars and artillery on the areas of more than 10 settlements, including Vremivka and Novopil (Donetsk Oblast), Olhivske, Dorozhnianka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Stepove and Plavni (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).

On the Kherson front, the Russians are on the defensive and conducting reinforcement of their troops. They shelled more than 15 settlements near the contact line. This includes Osokorivka, Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Antonivka, Bilohrudove, the city of Kherson (Kherson Oblast) and Mykolaiv.

The Russians keep suffering losses. The number of killed occupiers among the conscripts from Kursk Oblast (Russia) increases, as is evidenced by local media outlets. Moreover, a young generation of Russians are supporting the war in Ukraine less and less because of the information about losses. Rumours about possible invasion by the Armed Forces of Ukraine are spreading in the city of Kursk and its oblast namesake. Construction of fortifications in districts, close to the border with Ukraine, are going on because of this.

Ukrainian aircraft carried out 22 strikes on clusters of manpower, weapons and military equipment, as well as 4 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile system positions

In addition, units of Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery hit a command post, three clusters of manpower, a cluster of artillery and an ammunition storage point belonging to the occupiers.
