Zelenskyy visits soldiers in Kharkiv Oblast after meeting with Ukrainian military in Donbas

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has visited Kharkiv Oblast on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, after travelling to Donbas earlier.

Details: During his work trip to Kharkiv on 6 December, Zelenskyy visited a hospital where wounded servicemen are being treated. 

The president heard reports about the condition of the wounded and the course of their treatment. In particular, high rates of resuscitation of military personnel who were in a state of clinical death were noted.

Zelenskyy has congratulated the medical staff on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and decorated them with state awards. 

Quote: "Congratulations on this important holiday for all of us! Thank you very much for saving our warriors, helping our heroes survive. And on this day, I would like to wish health to the people who support the health of our military. Take care of yourself, because you take care of Ukraine". 

Details: After that, Zelenskyy visited the wounded defenders of Ukraine, talked with them and decorated them with state awards, too.

Quote: "It is a great honour to be with you today. Thank you for the heroism with which you defend our state, its independence and territorial integrity, the freedom and life of our people. I wish you a speedy recovery." 

Previously: Earlier on 6 December, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recorded a greeting message to the Armed Forces of Ukraine while staying near the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk Oblast.
