Talks regarding Patriot systems moving at tank speed, but there is progress – Ukraine's Foreign Minister

The Ukrainian side raises the issue of American tanks and Patriot air defence systems during every meeting and contact with the US representatives.

Source: Ukrinform news outlet, quoting Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, during an online briefing.

Quote: "At every international meeting, during every contact with the United States, at the level of the president, and at the level of the head of his office, and at my level, we raise the topic of American tanks and Patriot systems."

Details: The Minister has added that this conversation is not easy for a number of reasons, but there is progress: "Of course, I would like it to move at the speed of an aeroplane, but it is moving at the speed of a tank, so it takes time."

At the same time, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine has noted that all sides are really making every effort to help Ukraine solve the most pressing problems.

Kuleba has also said that following the results of events in Bucharest, during the NATO ministerial meeting, he can say that the leadership of the United States is not just important, but literally life-saving in mobilising and solving a number of economic and logistical issues of supplying transformers, generators and other equipment.

Quote: "We will continue to resolve all issues related to the supply of any weapons, because there are no prohibited topics for us here, and even if someone theoretically asked us not to raise this or that issue, we would still continue to press and look for opportunities for a solution."
