Half of Kyiv region will have no electricity over next few days
Work is underway in Kyiv Oblast to repair the damage caused by Russia’s large-scale missile attack on 5 December.

Details: Kuleba explained that Ukrenergo, the state grid operator, has decided to introduce emergency shutdowns, so the shutdown schedules are not applicable at the moment.
Power engineers are working in emergency mode in order to get back to the scheduled shutdowns as quickly as possible.

On the afternoon of 5 December, Russia carried out another massive missile attack on Ukraine. The aggressor country launched more than 70 missiles from air and sea. More than 60 of them were shot down by Ukraine's Air Defence Forces.
Ukrenergo reported that as a result of Russia’s latest massive attack on the Ukrainian energy sector, emergency power cuts will occur throughout Ukraine.
