Ukrainian air defence shoots down dozens of missiles during massive attack

Ukraine’s Air Force has started to report on its work during the massive attack landed by the Russians in the afternoon of 5 December. Dozens of missiles were shot down over Kyiv, Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.

Details: 10 missiles were detected in the airspace of Kyiv, 9 of which were destroyed.

Lunin reported that the air defence system in the oblast worked "to the fullest", shooting down "up to 10 Russian missiles"; there were no strikes.

According to the Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukrainian troops from the Air Command Skhid (East) shot down 15 Russian missiles.
