Ukraine and USA work on further sanctions against Russia

Ukraine and the United States are working to increase sanction pressure on the Russian Federation in response to the missile strikes on Ukrainian cities.

Quote: "We are certainly providing all the information, and we are working with partners to ensure that the sanctions [against Russia – ed.] are constantly expanded...

We have not stopped working on this [putting pressure through sanctions – ed.]. Our point of view is that Russia should be isolated as much as possible. Sanctions should be expanded, and we are certainly working on new packages [of sanctions – ed.]."

Details: Markarova stated that new sanctions are being worked out against Russian banks, legal entities and individuals in the Russian Federation, as well as against companies and organisations that had helped the aggressor carry out the latest attacks.
