Since 24 February, the beginning of the full scale Russian invasion, the aggressor has made tireless efforts to besiege the city. But Kyiv resisted, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the Ruscists far from the capital. Russians then resorted to the ‘air genocide’, which is still ongoing."

Details: The Kyiv City Military Administration estimates that as of 30 December, the occupiers launched 52 air attacks on the city. Over 600 buildings were damaged.

The critical infrastructure of the capital was significantly damaged.

Since the beginning of the full scale Russian invasion, 638 sirens were sounded in Kyiv, lasting 693 hours 49 minutes in total.

Quote: "That is almost 29 days! The residents of Kyiv spend a whole calendar month in bomb shelters this year!

The capital of Ukraine is its people. The people who persevered and became even more courageous. Nothing will break them. The Ukrainian Kyiv stands and will continue standing!"
