Death toll rises in Kharkiv following attack

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, has reported that a second person has died as a result of a Russian attack on the city of Kharkiv.

Quote from Syniehubov: "According to updated data from the oblast centre for emergency medical care, unfortunately, one of the [two] injured men died in the ambulance. The other has been hospitalised."

Background: On the afternoon of 29 December, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv and the oblast again, killing one person and injuring two others. A 50-year-old man was reported to have been killed.
