Russians hit Ukraine’s largest private energy company’s power plants for 22nd time
Russian forces have attacked one of the thermal power plants belonging to DTEK [the largest private energy business in Ukraine] during its 10th large-scale missile attack on infrastructure facilities on the morning of 29 December.

Details: "Today, the enemy once again attacked a DTEK energy facility, which had previously been targeted several times. The station's equipment was significantly damaged as a result of the attack," the message states.
The business added that one of the employees of the station received minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
"This is the 22nd terrorist attack by Russia on DTEK energy facilities," stated DTEK Energo.
Background:
Russian forces attacked Ukraine with drones on the night of 28-29 December, and with cruise missiles on the morning of 29 December; air defence forces may be operating throughout the territory of Ukraine.
DTEK implemented emergency power outages in Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts due to the threat of Russian missile attacks; distribution network operators of Zhytomyr and Sumy oblasts also reported emergency power outages.
After the 10th large-scale missile attack by Russians on critical infrastructure facilities, a difficult situation with electricity supply has been observed in two oblasts and in western Ukraine.
