Armed Forces of Ukraine kill 800 Russian occupiers and down 10 UAVs in 24 hours

Russia has lost over 104,500 soldiers, more than 2,000 artillery systems and more than 1,700 UAVs in the war against Ukraine.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 29 December 2022 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

  • approximately 104,560 (+790) military personnel; 
  • 3,018 (+1) tanks,
  • 6,047 (+10) armoured combat vehicles,
  • 2,004 (+5) artillery systems,
  • 423 (+5) multiple-launch rocket systems,
  • 212 (+0) air defence systems,
  • 283 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft,
  • 268 (+1) helicopters,
  • 1,717 (+10) operational-tactical UAVs,
  • 653 (+0) cruise missiles,
  • 16 (+0) ships/boats,
  • 4,675 (+15) vehicles and tankers,
  • 179 (+0) special vehicles and other equipment.

Russian troops suffered their greatest losses on the Lyman and Bakhmut fronts.
