Two series of explosions heard in Kyiv, air defence operating, debris falling in city, casualties reported
Sounds of explosions rocked Kyiv on the morning of 29 December during an air raid, the air defence system has been activated, and debris from a downed missile has damaged a private residential building in Osokorky district.

Kyiv City Military Administration has reported that air defence systems are operating in the capital.
Later, citizens heard another series of explosions in different districts of the city. It was likely a new wave of attacks.
Vitalii Klitschko, Mayor of Kyiv, has reported "several explosions in the capital". He warned that there may be power outages in the city and urged people to charge phones and stock up on water.
Svitlana Vodolaha, spokesperson for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, has reported to Suspilne that in Kyiv, a fragment of a missile hit a private residential building in Osokorky (left bank in Kyiv). There are no reports on casualties yet.
At 09:37, Kyiv City Military Administration reported that two private houses in Darnytskyi district had been damaged by debris from downed missiles.
An industrial business in Holosiivskyi district and a children's playground in Pechersk district were also damaged.
Serhii Popko, Head of Kyiv City Military Administration, has reported that two people suffered injuries in Darnytsia district, and they have received first aid. The data is being confirmed.
Kyrylo Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, has posted a photo of the aftermath of the falling rocket debris. He also wrote that the enemy attack this morning "injured three people, among them a 14-year-old girl".
