Next year should be decisive – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is preparing its Defense and Security Forces for next year and that it should be a crucial year.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "We continue to prepare the defence and security forces of Ukraine for the next year. It must be a crucial year. We understand the risks in the winter, we understand what we have to do in the spring, and therefore we understand what results the entire defence and security sector must demonstrate."

Details: According to Zelenskyy, this week will be important for Ukraine from a political point of view: "We are entering next year and must retain a common understanding of our national goals."

The President called the main goals — the liberation of Ukraine from the enemy, as well as the restoration, repatriation of Ukrainians who have fled, further rapprochement of the state with key partners, opening new opportunities for Ukraine in the world.

He said that he will soon present his approach to the implementation of these tasks in the annual Message to the Verkhovna Rada on the external and internal situation of Ukraine.
