  • Vladimir Putin announced partial mobilisation in Russia on 21 September. Sergey Shoigu, the Minister of Defence of Russia, claimed that 300,000 reserve troops would be mobilised.
  • The Ukrainian side stressed that mobilising the residents of occupied Crimea for the war against Ukraine is a war crime committed by Russia. The Prosecutor’s Office of the Autonomic Republic of Crimea advised the residents to keep them informed about the case if they are mobilised to the Russian Army and do not commit crimes against Ukraine.
