The Russian Federation has lost 103,220 servicemen, 1,998 artillery systems, and 6,024 armoured combat vehicles in its war against Ukraine.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 27 December 2022 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]:

  • approximately 103,220 (+620) military personnel;
  • 3,016 (+0) tanks;
  • 6,024 (+7) armoured combat vehicles;
  • 1,998 (+2) artillery systems;
  • 418 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
  • 212 (+0) air defence systems;
  • 283 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
  • 267 (+0) helicopters;
  • 1,707 (+0) operational-tactical UAVs;
  •  653 (+0) cruise missiles;
  • 16 (+0) ships/boats;
  • 4,652 (+5) vehicles and tankers;
  • 179 (+1) other vehicles and equipment.

Russian forces suffered their heaviest losses on the Bakhmut and Lyman fronts.
