Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel Russian attacks near 8 settlements – General Staff
The Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled Russian attacks in the areas of eight settlements on 26 December.

Quote: "During the past day, the enemy launched two missile strikes and 44 attacks from multiple rocket launchers.
At the same time, units from the Defence Forces of Ukraine repelled attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka settlements in Luhansk Oblast and Dyliivka, Krasnohorivka, Vodiane, Vesele, Marinka and Pobieda in Donetsk Oblast."
Details: On the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, there were no significant changes, with the invaders maintaining a military presence along the state border. There is no evidence that Russia is forming additional units to launch a new offensive.
On the Sivershchyna front, the Russians shelled the areas in and around the settlements Vyntorivka, Manukhivka, Ryzhivka, and Vorozhba in Sumy Oblast.
On the Slobozhanshchyna front, areas of the settlements of Hlyboke, Krasne, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna and Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast came under fire.
On the Kupiansk and Lyman front, the invaders shelled the areas of Berestove, Tavilzhanka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne and Pershotravneve settlements in Kharkiv Oblast with tanks, tubed and rocket artillery, as well as Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Kolomyichykha, Pershotravneve and Ploschanka in Luhansk Oblast and Yampolivka, Torske, Dibrova and Hryhorivka in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the invaders attacked the areas of more than 25 settlements: Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Novopavlivka front, the settlements of Prechystivka, Zolota Niva and Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast were attacked.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the invaders attacked the areas in and around the settlements of Temyrivka, Olhivske, Poltavka, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, and Plavni in Zaporizhzhia Oblast with mortars and tubed artillery.
On the Kherson front, civilian infrastructure facilities in Beryslav, Vesele, Sadove, Antonivka and Stanislav settlements in Kherson Oblat and the city of Kherson were damaged by Russian attacks.
The General Staff reported that on 25 December, Ukrainian servicemen struck a cluster of Russian manpower near Novobilozerka in the Vasylivka district of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The Russians lost up to 100 soldiers. Among them were 15 employees of the FSB [Federal Security Service – ed.] of the Russian Federation.
During the day, Ukrainian Defence Forces’ aircraft struck an area where the Russian occupying forces were concentrated.
In addition, Rocket Forces and Artillery units struck four command posts and six clusters of Russian manpower.
