Ukrainian Air Force delivers strike on cluster of Russian personnel – General Staff report

On 26 December, the Russian occupying forces performed 19 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS); units of Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery hit four command posts and six clusters of Russian military personnel, while Ukrainian Air Force struck one more cluster of Russian personnel.

Details: On 26 December, the 306th day of the Russian full-scale invasion, the occupiers performed 19 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems. The threat of Russian air and missile strikes remains on the entire territory of Ukraine.

The occupiers continue to focus their efforts on conducting offensive actions on the Bakhmut and Lyman fronts; on the Kupiansk, Avdiivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the Russians are trying to improve their tactical positions. On the Novopavlivka and Kherson fronts, the occupiers are defensive.

In general, the situation on the other fronts is as follows: 

There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts. There is no evidence that Russia is forming additional units to launch a new offensive.

On the Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians deployed artillery to fire on Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk and Ridkodub in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, more than 20 settlements came under Russian fire, including Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Tabaivka in Kharkiv Oblast; Ploshchanka, Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast and Torske in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, Russian attacks on 30 settlements were reported, including Berestove, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, New-York, Avdiivka, Vesele, Nevelske, Marinka and Novomykhailivka (all in Donetsk Oblast).

On the Novopavlivka front, the settlements of Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka and Vremivka (Donetsk Oblast) came under Russian fire.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russians deployed tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas of 15 settlements, including Novopil in Donetsk Oblast and Olhivske, Malynivka, Dorozhnianka, Charivne, Bilohirʼia, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the Kherson front, the occupiers continued artillery attacks on settlements along the right bank of the Dnipro River. The civilian infrastructure of the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Respublikanets, Novokairiv, Tomaryne, Tiahynka, Mykilske, Prydniprovske, Inzhenerne, Antonivka and in the city of Kherson was damaged.
