Defence Forces explained how they "give trouble" to invaders in Ukraine's south
In Ukraine's south, the invaders are gradually giving up their positions, and Ukrainian troops are trying to prevent the Russians from pulling up any reserves.
Source: Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the joint press centre of the Defence Forces of Ukraine's south on air during the national joint 24/7 newscast, as reported by Army Inform.
Quote: "The enemy is losing positions – gradually, but definitely. They now have the task of holding back, waiting for the moment when they pull up their reserves.
Therefore Command plans measures in such a way so as not to allow the enemy to do this: we establish fire control, try to stop their logistics supplies, do not let them rest and force them to constantly look for new locations."
Details: According to Humeniuk, the occupiers continue to manoeuvre and are preparing for something to come.
In particular, one of their missile launch vessels has entered its base point. There are currently one surface and two submarine launch vessels at sea, which in total amounts to 16 Kalibr cruise missiles being combat-ready.
At the same time, the press secretary stressed that it is not difficult for the Russians to return that missile carrier to combat duty, as it will take merely several hours.
Note: The Chief Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defence Ministry noted that when it comes to possible massive attacks, Russia does not necessarily get attached to holiday dates.
Ukraine's Air Force has also repeatedly stressed that the aggressor country can launch missile strikes at any time, and the Ukrainian Defence Forces are constantly ready for this.
