Ukrainian forces few kilometres away from strategically-important city of Kreminna, Luhansk Oblast

Serhii Haidai, Head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, reported that the Russian occupiers are counterattacking in the area of the cities of Svatove and Kreminna [Luhansk Oblast] to no avail, whilst Ukrainian forces are a few kilometres away from Kreminna.

Quote: "We are a few kilometres away from Kreminna, but the progress is slow due to the densely mined area.

Our Defense Forces managed to stabilise the situation in Bilohorivka [a settlement in Luhansk Oblast – ed.]. We are confidently holding our positions."

Details: According to Haidai, people are freezing in the occupied settlements of Luhansk Oblast. "High-rise buildings are heated by [burning] chopped trees in the streets and with people’s own furniture."
