Russia attacks border districts of Sumy Oblast 83 times

Russian occupiers have attacked border districts of Sumy Oblast 83 times in the course of the past 24 hours.

Details: The hromadas [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories - ed.] of Velyka Pysarivka, Krasnopillia, Myropil, Yunakivka, Khotin and Shalyhyne came under fire.

- Velyka Pysarivka hromada: The Russians struck six times using self-propelled artillery systems.
- Khotin hromada: The occupiers attacked twice using artillery, with 34 shells exploding near the border districts of Sumy Oblast.
- Shalyhyne hromada: Russian forces fired from grenade launchers, with five strikes detected. In addition, the Defence Forces recorded five bursts of small arms fire and 10 machine gun bursts.
- Krasnopillia hromada: The Russians dropped explosives twice from drones, and there were also 15 strikes from self-propelled artillery systems.
- Yunakivka hromada: the Russian troops shelled the border area with artillery, with 10 strikes.
- Myropil hromada: The occupiers fired using artillery and four strikes were recorded. Another 9 Russian mine bombs exploded on the border as well.
Three houses and a power line were damaged as a result of the Russian attacks, Zhyvytskyi said.
