Ukraine's Armed Forces repel Russian attacks near 15 settlements – General Staff report

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled Russian attacks, as well as hit command posts and clusters of military equipment belonging to the invaders.

Details: Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defence forces have repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of the settlements of Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Chervonopopivka and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Verkhnokamianske, Bakhmutske, Pidhorodne, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, Marinka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast).

Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian attackers launched 4 missile and 7 air strikes using Shahed-136 drones, as well as carried out 55 multiple-launch rocket system attacks. The attacks affected towns and villages, civilian infrastructure and the civilian population.

The Russian invaders started the day by deploying attack drones, detailed information will be provided after the facts have been established.

On the Sivershchyna front, Russian forces carried out mortar attacks on the settlements of Hremiach (Chernihiv Oblast) and Bilokopytove (Sumy Oblast).

On the Slobozhanshchyna front, Russian forces opened fire on areas in and around the settlements of Chervona Zoria, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Volokhivka, Chuhunivka, Fyholivka, Dvorichna and Novomlynsk in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupiansk front, the Russians opened fire on areas in and around the settlements of Yahidne, Kyslivka, Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove (Kharkiv Oblast) and Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast).

On the Lyman front, Russian troops attacked the settlements of  Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front, Russian attackers deployed tanks and rocket artillery to fire on the areas in and around the settlements of Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Hryhorivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, Dyliivka, Ozarianivka, Pivnichne and Opytne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka front, Russian attacks were recorded near the settlements of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, the Russians used tubed and rocket artillery to  fire on areas in and around Temyrivka, Chervone, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky and Plavni (Zaporizhzhia Oblast); Chervonohryhorivka and Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast) and Sadove, Kherson, Komyshany and Kizomys (Kherson Oblast). There are civilian casualties.

The occupiers continue to conduct searches of the population in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. They are paying special attention to mobile phones and smartphones.

The number of Russian invaders in the settlements of Melitopol district (Zaporizhzhia oblast) has increased. Russian occupiers are also considering involving former police officers who have defected to the Russian side in the hostilities.

The Ukrainian Air Force made nine strikes on clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as three strikes on their anti-aircraft missile systems positions in the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian defenders have shot down seven Shahed-136 drones in the same period.

Units of Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck a command post, a cluster of manpower and two ammunition storage points belonging to the Russians, as well as a Russian Zoopark counter-battery radar station.
