Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 8 clusters of Russian manpower – General Staff
Ukrainian defence forces have repelled Russian attacks near 15 settlements and hit eight clusters of the occupiers’ manpower over the past 24 hours.

Details: Over the past 24 hours, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled attacks by Russian occupiers in the areas of over 15 settlements, such as Stelmakhivka and Serebrianske Forest in Luhansk Oblast; and Verkhniokamianske, Vyimka, Vesele, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Krasnohorivka in Donetsk Oblast.
The Russian invaders have launched five missile strikes and used multiple-launch rocket systems 42 times over the past day.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the occupiers fired at the settlements of Seredyna-Buda and Vovkivka in Sumy Oblast; and Strilecha, Hlyboke, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Volokhivka, Chuhunivka, Novomlynsk and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast.
On the Kupiansk front, the districts of Berestove, Yahidne, Kotliarivka and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv Oblast, and Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast came under fire.
On the Lyman front, the Russians struck Makiivka, Ploshchanka and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast.
On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the Russian troops attacked the areas of more than 15 settlements. Among them are Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Opytne, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Novopavlivka front, the occupiers did not perform any active operations. They used a UAV to detect the positions of Ukrainian defenders near the Shevchenkove settlement.
On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, Russian troops used tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery to fire at 24 settlements. Among them are Bilohiria, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Stepove and Plavni in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Kozatske, Tiahynka, Mykilske, Kherson and Dniprovske in Kherson Oblast.
It is confirmed that units of the defence forces struck several clusters of Russian military personnel and equipment, as well as two ammunition storage points in Zaporizhzhia Oblast on 16 December.
The Russian troops lost more than 150 soldiers and 10 units of various military equipment. The information regarding invaders killed is being updated.
