On Saturday, Russians carry out five missile strikes, attack on two fronts – General Staff

In the course of the last 24 hours, the Russians have carried out five missile strikes and ten attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.

Quote: "In the course of the last 24 hours, the enemy has carried out five missile strikes. Civil infrastructure has suffered from the attacks, in particular in the cities of Druzhkivka and Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast. Two P-800 Oniks rockets were launched in the direction of Odesa from the territories of temporarily occupied Crimea; they were successfully destroyed by the Air Defence forces.

Besides that, the occupiers have attacked the positions of the Ukrainian Army on different fronts and civil infrastructure of Kherson ten times from multiple launch rocket systems.

The threat of missile and aircraft attacks on critical infrastructure targets remains throughout Ukraine."

Details: The enemy continues its efforts to conduct offensive operations on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts. They are trying to restore their tactical position on the Lyman front, while trying to deter the actions of Ukrainian Armed Forces on other fronts.

There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia fronts; there are no indications of a formation of new offensive capabilities. 

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, Russian forces struck Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Hai, Zernove, Yastrubyne and Kindrativka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Strilecha, Krasne, Starytsia, Zakharivka, Milove, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk and Zapadne in Kharkiv Oblast from mortars and artillery. 

On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces fired at the settlements of Kyslivka, Kotliarivka and Tabaivka in Kharkiv Oblast, as well as Stelmakhivka a Nevske in Luhansk Oblast from tanks and a full range of artillery. 

On the Lyman front, the Russian army targeted the position of Ukrainian Armed Forces from mortars, tanks, tubed and rocket artillery near the areas of Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka, Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast. 

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the Russians continue trying to break Ukrainian defence with no effect. They have struck the areas of more than twenty settlements, in particular Andriivka, Berestove, Blahodatne, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Chasiv Yar, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Karlivka, Marinka and Pervomaiske in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Novopavlivka front, the Russians tried to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops near Prechystivka, Vuhledar and Shakhtarske in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, Russian troops continued attacking the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian infrastructure along the right bank of the Dnipro River. They  targeted 32 settlements, among them Vremivka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as Kherson, Respublikanets, Novokairy, Charivne and Olhivka in Kherson Oblast. 

On 15 December, the Russian army lost 100 soldiers and an ammunition warehouse near the settlements of Tokmak and Polohy. The information on enemy losses is being clarified. 

Ukrainian Rocket Forces and Artillery units also hit one command post, five clusters of Russian military personnel and three ammunition warehouses.
