Details: According to Klitschko, utility workers have replaced all 18 damaged glass floor panes, as well as 143 railings. 57 railings were completely destroyed, and another 86 were damaged following a missile attack on 10 October.

The railings and cables stretched along the bridge have been repaired as well. In addition, Kyivavtoshliahmist [local utility company engaged in repairing, reinforcing, concrete, welding, and waterproofing works – ed.] workers once again inspected the bridge supports, lighting and video surveillance systems.

They removed the snow and applied anti-black icing materials on the bridge.

"So, one of our symbols of invincibility is again waiting for Kyiv residents and guests of the capital," the Mayor added.

Background: On the morning of 10 October, during a massive attack on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, Russian forces fired missiles at Kyiv, including the Klitschko Bridge located in the centre of the capital. The glass elements of the pedestrian and bicycle bridge were damaged, while the cable and metal structures were not affected.
