Russians attack Ochakiv, Mykolaiv Oblast, hitting infrastructure facilities

Russian soldiers shelled Ochakiv, Mykolaiv Oblast, on the morning of 15 December, damaging infrastructure facilities and private households. Luckily, there were no casualties.

Details: According to the investigation, the Russian troops conducted massive artillery attacks on the city of Ochakiv again on 15 December at 06:00 and 07:05. 

They have destroyed and damaged infrastructure facilities and the private households of local residents. 

As per the information available at the moment, there were no casualties among civilians. 

Prosecutors of the Department for Counteracting Crimes Committed under Armed Conflict of the Prosecutor General’s Office in Mykolaiv Oblast, together with policemen, have documented and recorded the consequences of another display of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression and collected material evidence. 

The Prosecutor's Office in Mykolaiv Oblast is leading pre-trial investigations based on facts of violations of laws and customs of war (Article 438 of Ukraine's Criminal Code). 

Previously: Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, said that on Thursday morning the occupiers attacked the Ochakiv and Chornomorsk hromadas [administrative units designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.] of Mykolaiv Oblast.
