10 Ukrainian generals fired since full-scale invasion started, and one shot himself
Ten generals have been fired from the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, while another killed himself.

Details: As General Zaluzhnyi is too young to have served in the Soviet army, he has avoided the culture of "commanding" that encouraged and rewarded obedience and suppressed proactivity. However, that does not mean that Zaluzhnyi is not strong-willed, as The Economist describes him.
Quote from Zaluzhnyi: "It is always possible to be normal. To be normal means to remain human in any situation, that is the most important thing. (...) I’ve fired ten of them [generals] since the start of the war because they were not up to it. Another one shot himself."
