Russia looks for trench diggers via social media, even among disabled people
The Russians are recruiting people to build fortifications, including digging trenches, through online platforms and social media; they promise high salaries, all expenses paid, and jobs for people with disabilities.

Details: According to the mass media, announcements about hiring people for the construction of fortifications in the occupied Zaporizhzhia and Luhansk oblasts, as well as in Belgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation appeared on Russian Internet platforms Avito, HeadHunter and the social network Vkontakte.
Russians are offered work on rotation from 30 to 90 days with a salary from 89,000 to 258,000 roubles (from US$1,370 to US$4,000). As the mass media report, the duties include digging trenches, building dugouts, collecting wooden shields for strengthening trenches, installing anti-tank tetrahedrons, and sheathing wagons with steel.
The announcement was posted on HeadHunter by StroyKom [a building company], which built the Crimean bridge. The business promises to transport, feed and settle the workers at its own expense.
Work experience is not important, but physical health is required. At the same time, they write that "there are jobs" for people with disabilities as well.
Quote: "On websites with reviews about employers, a lot of negative feedback from workers can be found: they live in army tents, living conditions are bad, salaries are delayed and not paid in full."
