Russian hacker attack on Lviv Oblast power distribution company website repelled

Russian hackers have attacked the website of Lvivoblenergo, Lviv Oblast power distribution company. The company's IT specialists managed to repel the attack thanks to a timely warning from the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

"Last night, hackers employed by the Russian occupiers attacked the website and other IT resources of Lvivoblenergo.

Our company's IT specialists managed to repel the attack thanks to a timely warning from the Security Service of Ukraine," the message says.

The company explains that currently, the Lvivoblenergo website and other services may work with a certain delay because additional measures have been taken to protect the IT infrastructure.
