Russian occupation authorities demolish residential block near Azovstal steelworks in Mariupol

Russian occupiers plan to demolish an entire residential block near the Azovstal steel plant in the captured city of Mariupol.

Quote: "The map containing the destruction plans has been published by propaganda internet communities on the basis of Yandex [Russian multinational technology company providing Internet-related products and services, including a Web search engine – ed.]. According to the plans, they [Russians] want to demolish the entire block near the Azovstal plant in the Left Bank district of the city, at Morskyi Boulevard and Azovstalska Street".

Details: According to the City Council, civilians are still living in semi-ruined houses in this area; they have no electricity, gas or heating.

Quote: "The occupiers continue their attempts to destroy Mariupol. They regularly destroy high-rise buildings that Russians purposefully bombed during the siege [this spring – ed.]."
