Quote: "In total, the occupiers have recruited 23,000 convicts, who are used as cannon fodder during an assault.

The reason is that their deaths do not resonate in Russian society and therefore allows Russians not to think about losses."

Details: The National Resistance Center of Ukraine has specified that assault units are formed from convicts, and aerial reconnaissance is used during assaults, through which the commanders of the groups observe the actions of their "subordinates".

"At the same time, these losses do not demoralise the Wagner Group, because qualified staff and management do not participate in assaults," the Center notes.
