An air-raid siren was sounded throughout Ukraine in the afternoon of 13 December.

Details: Starting from 14:40 on 13 December, sirens were sounded in the country's east, then in Kyiv and in Ukraine's south.
As of 14:43, the air-raid siren was sounded throughout Ukraine.
The air-raid siren means that there is a threat of air strikes. During this period, people are advised to hide in the nearest shelter.
Earlier, Belaruski Hajun reported that MiG-31K jet fighters armed with Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles were expected to arrive in Belarus on 13 December.
Updated: Later, Belaruski Hajun reported that at 15:06, on 13 December, a MiG-31K of the Russian Aerospace Forces with registration number RF-95194 arrived in Belarus, and at 15:11, the second MiG-31K of the Russian Aerospace Forces (registration number RF-92445) reached Belarus, too.
At 15:20, the third MiG-31K (registration number RF-92215) arrived in Belarus.
The Belarusian outlet noted that the planes are heading to the military airfield in Machulishchy airfield, Minsk Oblast of Belarus.
As of 15:55, an all-clear was sounded over most of Ukraine's territory.
Why this is important: On 13 December, it became known that Belarus started to suddenly check the combat readiness of its armed forces under the instructions of self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
It was also reported that Belarus was sending troops to the border with Ukraine. In particular, units of the 38th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade were moving southeast of Brest, along the P17 road to the town of Malaryta, Brest Oblast, and the agricultural town of Makrany, Brest Oblast, located at a distance of 20 km and 4 km from the border with Ukraine, respectively.
Background: As part of the deployment of the regional joint force (RJF), on 16 October, three MiG-31K jet fighters of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived at the Machulishchy airfield in Belarus. At that time, the Ministry of Defence of Belarus reported that the aircraft were the "air force component" of the RJF.
On 1 December, three MiG-31K jets of the Russian Air Force with the side numbers of RF-92462, RF-92339 and RF-92333 left Belarus to the Savasleyka airfield (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia).
