As Kovaliv states, 15 such eight-metre-high generator lighting towers have already arrived in Ukraine.
"In total, our friends and partners from the Canada-Ukraine Foundation will hand over 50 such towers by the New Year so that our power engineers can work day and night," the ambassador said.
In recent weeks, partners have been delivering generators and power grid repair equipment to Ukraine to help deal with the aftermath of Russian missile strikes on energy infrastructure facilities.
Among the latter, Estonia transferred another eleven buses with generators and power equipment to Ukrainian cities; France transferred 100 medium-power generators; and the Netherlands announced the provision of transformers, switching components and cables.
