Three bomb disposal experts dead and two injured during mine clearance in Konstiantynivka, Donetsk Oblast
Three bomb disposal experts from the Ukrainian State Emergency Services (SES) were killed on 12 December during a mine clearance operation in the city of Konstiantynivka, Donetsk Oblast. Doctors are currently battling to save two other emergency workers.

Details: The tragedy took place on 12 December when an explosive ordinance blew up during mine clearance in the city of Konstiantynivka in the Kramatorsk district.
Three emergency workers were killed as a result:
- Yevhen Sahaida, born in 1998, head of the bomb disposal department of the Special Purpose Emergency Rescue Unit;
- Oleksandr Kulinich, born in 2000, head of the underwater demining department of the Special Purpose Emergency Unit of the Main Directorate;
- Maksym Lyzia, born in 1979, senior driver of the bomb disposal team of the Special Purpose Emergency Unit of the Main Directorate.
Two other bomb disposal experts were injured, and doctors are currently battling to save their lives.
The State Emergency Service expressed its condolences to the families, relatives and friends of the emergency workers.
