Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel attacks near 11 settlements and strike 8 Russian military targets – General Staff report
In the course of the last 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled the Russian attacks in the area of 11 settlements of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, and struck the Russian command posts and clusters of forces.

Details: Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled attacks by Russian invaders near the settlements of Novoselivske, Andriivka, Chervonopopivka, Zhytlivka, Serebrianske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Verkhnokamianske, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Pidhorodne and Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast.
At the same time, the Russians have launched three missile attacks and 17 air strikes, as well as 60 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, Russian forces continue to deploy their troops in the settlements near the borders of Briansk, Kursk and Belgorod Oblasts. They carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Vyntorivka and Mohrytsia in Sumy Oblast and Strilecha, Zelene, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Varvarivka, Cherniakiv, Chuhunivka, Dvorichna and Ridkodub in Kharkiv Oblast.
On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, the Russians targeted the areas near the settlements of Zapadne, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Pishchane, Krokhmalne, Berestove of Kharkiv Oblast; Terny in Donetsk Oblast, Stelmakhivka, Novoiehorivka, Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast.
On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the Russians shelled positions of the Ukrainian army in over 20 settlements. Among them were Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Vesele, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Bila Hora, Kurdiumivka, Zalizne and Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast.
Russian troops tried to target Ukrainian positions on the Novopavlivka front. Using tanks and artillery, they carried out attacks near Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Prechystivka and Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russians have shelled over 20 settlements. Among them were Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Novopil, Vremivka in Donetsk Oblast and Novoandriivka, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne and Mala Tokmachk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
On the Kherson front, the suburbs and city of Kherson, as well as other settlements on the banks of the Dnipro river suffered consequences of the Russian shelling.
"In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, the Russian occupiers have been conducting searches in educational institutions for the past two weeks. The goal is to identify and destroy books in the Ukrainian language and educational materials containing Ukrainian symbols", the General Staff reported.
Units of Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck three Russian command posts and three clusters of personnel, weapons and military equipment belonging to the occupiers.
