Zelenskyy collects a Stavka: they talk about border protection, energy and winter
On Wednesday, 9 November, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a regular meeting of the staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine.

Details: Members of the staff heard reports by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and commanders of operational areas on the situation on the front line; they coordinated the actions to be taken by the defence forces to repel the armed aggression of the Russian Federation and liberate Ukrainian territories from invaders.
Information was also heard on the implementation of measures to strengthen and protect Ukraine’s national borders..
The participants also discussed the situation as regards the supplying units with weapons and ammunition, as well as the preparation of troops for the winter period.
In addition, participants in the meeting analysed the progress of the restoration of energy facilities affected by Russian attacks, and measures to protect critical infrastructure in Ukraine.
They also considered the issues of how to get through the winter period and ways to minimise the risks caused by Russian aggression.
The meeting was attended by: the Head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak; the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, Oleksii Danilov; Minister of Defence Oleksii Reznikov; the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi; the Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence, Kyrylo Budanov; the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Oleksandr Lytvynenko; the Commander of the ground forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi; and troop commanders of the various operational areas.
Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyi, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, other members of the government, heads of security and law enforcement agencies also joined the staff meeting.
