Russians taking out loot in trucks across Kakhovka HPP dam – General Staff

On 7 November, convoys of trucks with household appliances and construction materials moved across the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam.

Details: The occupiers are trying to hold the temporarily occupied territories, improve the tactical position, concentrating efforts on restraining the actions of the Armed Forces in certain directions. At the same time, they are carrying out offensive actions on the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivsk fronts.

Russians are shelling the Armed Forces of Ukraine units along the contact line, fitting out their defensive positions on some fronts and conducting aerial reconnaissance.

The occupiers continue to strike critical infrastructure and civilian houses, in violation of international humanitarian law and the laws and customs of war.

Russian forces launched 3 missile and 10 air strikes. This affected areas in and around settlements in Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts.

The situation on the Volyn and Polissia fronts has not changed significantly. There is still a threat of airstrikes using attack UAVs from the territory and airspace of Belarus.

The occupiers carried out shelling on other fronts:

  • on the Sivershchyna front – from mortars, rocket and tubed artillery, in areas in and around the settlements of Obody, Pavlivka and Pokrovka in Sumy Oblast;
  • on the Slobozhanshchyna front – from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, in areas in and around the settlements of Ambarne, Budarky, Vilkhuvatka, Dvorichna, Kozacha Lopan, Krasne, Ohirtseve, Sosnivka and Starytsia in Kharkiv Oblast;
  • on the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts – from different types of artillery, in areas in and around the settlements of Vyshneve, Kupiansk, Krokhmalne and Kyslivka in Kharkiv Oblast; Hrekivka, Miasozharivka, Makiivka and Nevske in Luhansk Oblast and Lyman, Terny, Torske and Yampolivka in Donetsk Oblast;
  • on the Bakhmut front – from tanks, mortars, tubed artillery and MLRS, in areas in and around the settlements of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Zalizne, Klishchiivka, Mayorsk, Opytne, Pivnichne, Rozdolivka, Soledar and Yakovlivka in Donetsk Oblast;
  • on the Avdiivka front – from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, in areas in and around settlements of Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Nevelske, Novomykhailivka, Opytne and Pervomaiske in Donetsk Oblast;
  • on the Novopavlivsk front– from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, in areas in and around the settlements of Velyka Novosilka, Volodymyrivka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Mykilske, Neskuchne, Novopil, Pavlivka and Prechystivka in Donetsk Oblast;
  • on the Zaporizhzhia front – from different types of artillery, in areas in and around the settlements of Varvarivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Mali Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Olhivske, Stepove, Temyrivka, Uspenivka and Charivne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast;
  • on the Pivdennyi Buh front, the areas of more than 30 settlements bordering on the contact line were shelled from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery, including: Blahodatne, Nova Kamianka, Sukhyi Stavok in Kherson Oblast, Vasylivka, Kobzartsi and Shyroke in Mykolaiv Oblast.

The occupiers continue to loot and destroy civilian infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson Oblast. Thus, on 7 November, convoys of trucks with household appliances and construction materials moved across the Kakhovka HPP dam. The dismantling and removal of equipment and mobile communication towers belonging to Ukrainian operators continues.

In the area of ​​the city of Beryslav, the Russian occupiers blew up power lines and the equipment of a solar power plant. The occupiers took away all artworks, furniture and equipment from the Kherson Oblast Museum of Shovkunenko.

In Melitopol and Mykhailiv districts in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the occupiers are forcing the local population to obtain Russian passports. At the same time, the invaders are taking away the passports of Ukrainian citizens and threatening them with resettlement.
