Details: Special Operations Forces say that the occupiers have given all power to Dmitry Berdnikov, a Russian citizen who has been officially appointed Ivashchenko's deputy.

Before Mariupol, Berdnikov held the positions of deputy head of the government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and mayor of Irkutsk.

Quote: "So here we have the typical occupation scenario, where traitors perform only ceremonial functions and are needed by the Russians as political extras for ‘referendums’ and as an imitation of the love of local people and people’s power.

When the need for such imitation disappears, the traitors are removed from power and are sometimes subsequently liquidated."
