Russian schools plan to reinstate 140 hours of military training
The Ministry of Defence of Russia has supported the introduction of basic military training in schools and vocational schools.

Details: The Head of the Spravedlivaya Rossiya - Za pravdu party (A Just Russia — For Truth - ed.), Sergey Mironov, has come up with the initiative to reinstate the course of basic military training in schools.
The Russian Ministry of Defence believes that it is advisable to allocate 140 hours for a two-year course. All parliamentary factions are ready to support the initiative.
Members of the Russian parliament claim that the benefit of the course is that schoolchildren will not only get basic military skills but also learn how to provide first aid and skills in land navigation.
In addition, Mironov believes that the implementation of the initiative will help employ tens of thousands of people who sincerely love Russia and are proficient in the theory and practice of warfare.
