Quote from Luhova: "Absolutely all the property in our city which belonged to the municipal enterprises that provided essential services for our city has been plundered. [At] Khersonmiskvodokanal [the local water supply company], which had a good deal of technical equipment, everything has been taken away, there is nothing left. It’s the same situation at Khersongaz [the gas supply company]. It’s been completely devastated."
Details: Halyna Luhova said the occupiers have taken away the city's fleet of vehicles, which had been replenished with 30 buses.
The invaders have also taken away all the ambulances and fire engines from Kherson.
Background:
- As reported earlier, the flag of the Russian Federation has disappeared from the building of the Oblast State Administration in Kherson.
- On 27 October, the National Resistance Center reported that the Russians had moved their occupation administration in Kherson Oblast to the left bank of the Dnipro river, i.e. out of Kherson. They were prompted to do this by the counteroffensive by Ukraine’s Armed Forces and the destruction of the bridges across the river.
- It was also reported that the Russian occupiers are looting the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia Oblast; they are continuing to plunder Ukrainian state-owned companies in the city of Melitopol.
