Russia ramps up administrative and policing measures in occupied territory of Kherson Oblast

Russia is withdrawing units of the Russian Armed Forces from the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast and deploying units of the Russian Guards [also known as Rosgvardiya] in their place.

Details: The General Staff reported that Russia’s goal is to strengthen its administrative and policing hold over the region.

Quote: "The enemy is ramping up administrative and policing measures on the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast; in order to facilitate this, some units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will be replaced by units of the Russian Guards."
