Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks near 10 settlements and shoot down 2 Russian aircraft – General Staff report
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 10 Russian attacks in Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts and shot down two Russian aircraft over the course of the past 24 hours.

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s defence forces have repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Novoselivske and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast); and Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Pervomaiske, Opytne, Nevelske and Krasnohorivka (Donetsk Oblast).
Russian forces have carried out nine missile strikes and 13 airstrikes, as well as over 50 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS) on the positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces and civilian settlements.
The General Staff reiterated that there is an ongoing threat of Russian missile strikes on critical infrastructure facilities across Ukraine.
There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. There is no evidence that Russian forces are forming new offensive task forces.
On the Sivershchyna front, Russian forces deployed mortars and artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Senkivka (Chernihiv Oblast), and Seredyna Buda, Novovolodymyrivka and Rozhkovychi (Sumy Oblast).
On the Slobozhanshchyna front, Russian forces deployed mortars and rocket artillery to fire bombs and rockets on areas in and around Strilecha, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Budarky, Chuhunivka and Ambarne (Kharkiv Oblast).
Russian forces are holding the line on the Kupiansk front. They shelled areas in and around Bolohivka, Kamianka, Kupiansk, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne and Berestove (Kharkiv Oblast) using various types of artillery.
Meanwhile, on the Lyman front, the Russians are focusing efforts on mounting an offensive. They shelled areas in and around Makiivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast); and Yampolivka and Torske (Donetsk Oblast).
On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the Russians are similarly focusing their efforts on conducting an offensive. They fired on areas in and around Serebrianka, Spirne, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Marinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk Oblast) using tank guns and artillery.
Russian forces on the Novopavlivka front shelled areas in the vicinity of Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva and Neskuchne (Donetsk Oblast).
Russian occupation forces on the Zaporizhzhia front are holding the line and deployed mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on the positions of Ukraine’s defence forces and on civilian settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast near the line of contact. Civilian infrastructure facilities in the city of Dnipro came under Russian fire.
On the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson fronts, Russian forces are defending their positions and relentlessly shelling units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and civilian settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River, in particular the city of Kherson (Kherson Oblast).
The General Staff reported that Russian occupation forces are "nationalising" the property belonging to agricultural businesses on the temporarily Russian-occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast. Russian forces are seizing and taking away the crops and equipment from local businesses in Bilokurakyne.
Russian occupation forces are also ramping up administrative and policing measures on the temporarily Russian-occupied territory of Kherson Oblast. In order to facilitate this, several units of the Russian Armed Forces will be replaced by units of the Russian Guards [also known as Rosgvardiya].
Ukraine’s aircraft have carried out three airstrikes on clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment over the past 24 hours. Ukraine’s defence forces shot down Russian Su-25 and Su-24 aircraft.
