Information about new offensive from Belarus is fake, intended to spread panic

Andrii Yusov, a representative of Ukraine’s Defence Intelligence, has said that information regarding Belarus preparing an offensive is circulating in order to spread panic.

Source: Yusov on Ukraine’s Freedom TV, cited on the website of Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine

Quote from Yusov: "We see different goals; that is, on the one hand, to sow panic among the population, among Ukrainians, including residents of border districts and oblasts. On the other hand, to disorient the Ukrainian defence forces, to disperse forces, to redeploy troops from other fronts….

Belarus itself and Belarusians are another objective and goal of this psychological special operation; that is, escalation of the situation. To create sparks and involve Belarus in the full-scale war, which has not happened before."

Details: Yusov pointed out that it is not as if there is no threat from Lukashenko’s regime. There is, since he is helping Russia with weapons, equipment and air space.

However, according to the Defence Intelligence’s information, one cannot speak of Belarus taking part in the war in the near future.
