Warsaw refutes Minskäs lies about mass migration of Ukrainians from Poland to Belarus
State authorities in Belarus have provided false data on the alleged mass migration of Ukrainians to Belarus from EU countries, in particular Poland.
This was reported by Stanisław Żaryn, the Polish Government Plenipotentiary for the Security of Information Space, reports European Pravda.
"A press release informing about the alleged mass migration of Ukrainians to Belarus was published on the website of the Belarusian Border Committee," stated Żaryn on Twitter.
He noted that, in his opinion, Belarussian propaganda continues to falsify reality, in particular about its role in the war against Ukraine.
He also stated that Belarusian propaganda once again suggests that Ukrainians, who flee Russian aggression, seek refuge in Belarus, treating this country as safer than EU countries.
"Minsk explicitly points out that Ukrainian refugees came to Belarus via EU countries", added Żaryn.
In early October, Poland finished building the wall on the border with Belarus.
