10,000-15,000 Belarusians from security forces are prepared to fight against Ukraine

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine estimates that 10,000-15,000 Belarusian siloviki [people who work in the military, intelligence, security and law enforcement agencies] are prepared to fight against Ukraine for Russian money.

Quote: "Approximately 10-15,000 personnel from the security agencies of the Republic of Belarus are ready to take part in the Russian Federation’s so-called special military operation - primarily because they are attracted by the high financial support."

Details: Nevertheless, Hromov says the readiness of the Armed Forces of Belarus to conduct military actions on their own is evaluated as low. Their morale is considered to be low due to the majority of them refusing to participate in Russia’s war against Ukraine.
