Quote: "Today, the terrorist country of the Russian Federation has launched a massive missile strike on critical infrastructure facilities in our state.

Unable to defeat the Armed Forces, the enemy is waging war on civilians, thermal power plants, medical institutions, and even babies.

During today's attack, the enemy launched 67 air-launched cruise missiles (Kh-101/Kh-555) and sea-launched cruise missiles (Kalibr).

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the defence forces, destroyed 51 cruise missiles as well as five Lancet kamikaze drones."

Details: Zaluzhnyi said 30 missiles were fired on Kyiv alone, 20 of which were destroyed.

He thanked Ukrainian servicemen, saying, "What you are doing, in the face of a constant shortage of weapons, equipment and ammunition, is on the extreme edge of what is possible."

The Commander-in-Chief also thanked Ukraine’s partner countries for providing air defence and missile defence systems, saying, "Peace in Europe directly depends on the stability and security of Ukraine."
