Zelenskyy requests urgent UN Security Council meeting to discuss Russia’s latest missile attack on Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has instructed Ukraine’s permanent representative at the UN to request a Security Council meeting following Russia’s missile attack on Wednesday, 23 November.

Details: On 23 November, Russia carried out a large-scale missile attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure facilities using strategic aircraft and vessels from the Black Sea Fleet.

Ten Tu-95MS missile-carrying jets launched missiles from the Volgodonsk district of Rostov Oblast [Russia] and the Caspian Sea, as well as from two small missile-carrying boats from the Black Sea.
Ukraine’s Air Force has reported that Russia launched a total of around 70 Kh-101/Kh-555 and Kalibr cruise missiles on 23 November.
