Ukraine’s defence forces repel Russian attacks near 12 settlements – General Staff report
Over the course of the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled Russian attacks in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts and struck several critical Russian military targets.

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s defence forces have repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Spirne, Berestove, Bakhmut, Kurdiumivka, Pivnichne, Novobakhmutivka, Krasnohorivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Marinka (Donetsk Oblast).
Russian forces have carried out 5 missile strikes on settlements in Kharkiv and Donetsk oblasts, as well as around 45 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian armed forces and on Ukrainian villages using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS).
There were no changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. There is no evidence that Russia is forming additional units to launch a new offensive.
Russian forces near the Russian-Ukrainian border in Bryansk and Kursk oblasts (Russia) on the Sivershchyna front deployed tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Semenivka (Chernihiv Oblast) and Novovasylivka, Kustyne, Druzhba, Vilna Sloboda and Shalyhine (Sumy Oblast).
On the Slobozhanshchyna front, Russia maintains units of its forces near the Russian-Ukrainian border in Belgorod Oblast (Russia) in order to conduct demonstrative actions. Russian forces are using mortars and artillery to attack the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces. They fired on areas in and around Strilecha, Hlyboke, Krasne, Izbytske and Ohirtseve (Kharkiv Oblast).
A Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group attempted to operate in the area near the village of Starytsia (Kharkiv Oblast), but Ukraine defence forces neutralised it. The Russians retreated.
On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts, Russian forces are defending their current positions and deploying tank guns and artillery to fire on areas in and around Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove and Vyshneve (Kharkiv Oblast), and Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Yampolivka and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast).
On the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the Russians are focusing their efforts on conducting an offensive. They deployed tank guns and all types of artillery at their disposal to fire on areas in and around Spirne, Vyimka, Berestove, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Opytne, Andriivka, Zelenopillia, Kurdiumivka, Yakovlivka, Klishchiivka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Marinka.
Russian forces are holding the line on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts. They fired on the positions of Ukrainian defence forces in the vicinity of Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Shakhtarske, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka and Novopil (Donetsk Oblast); and Zelenyi Hai, Dorozhnianka, Temyrivka, Poltavka, Chervone and Orikhiv (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).
On the Kryvyi Rih and Kherson fronts, Russian forces are defending their current positions, reinforcing their defences and continuing to deploy artillery to shell the positions of Ukrainian forces and civilian settlements on the right bank of the River Dnipro. They deployed tubed and rocket artillery to fire on Marivka (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast); and Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Novotiahynka, Tokarivka, Poniativka, Antonivka, Dniprovske and the city of Kherson (Kherson Oblast).
Russian forces are constructing an additional defence line along the Kakhovka–Melitopol road in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
The General Staff has reported that Russian occupation forces are continuing to suffer losses in Ukraine. There is a shortage of hospital beds at a municipal hospital in the town of Kalanchak (Kherson Oblast) due to a high number of wounded Russian soldiers. Around 40 injured Russian soldiers have been transferred to the village of Velyki Kopani (also in Kherson Oblast) to be hospitalised there.
According to the most recent information, Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Russian S-300 anti-aircraft missile system and five pieces of other military equipment in the vicinity of Polohy (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) on 21 November.
Forty Russian military personnel sustained injuries. A Russian checkpoint near Vesele (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) has been destroyed, injuring 15 Russian soldiers. In addition, up to 30 Russian military personnel sustained injuries in the city of Melitopol.
Ukraine’s aircraft have carried out three air strikes on clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and equipment in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery have struck a Russian command post.
