Civilians die in car that explodes in Belgorod Oblast
Two local residents who were inside a car have perished as the vehicle ran over an unknown device that exploded on the border of Russia’s Belgorod Oblast.

Details: The explosion was heard near Zolochovka Street in the village of Staroselye near the border with Ukraine. A Volkswagen Polo with a driver and a passenger ran over an unknown object that exploded. Both people died.
67-year-old Viktor Yurchenko and 63-year-old Ekaterina Yurchenko died. According to preliminary information, the car drove over a mine or some other sort of explosive.
Quote from Gladkov: "The married couple were blown up with ammunition of an unknown type. All necessary investigative measures are being carried out, in particular, to find out how this family ended up in the village."
