Military operation on Kinburn spit continues in silent mode
A military operation on the Kinburn spit of the Mykolaiv Oblast continues in silent mode, but a storm at sea contributes to the liberation of this territory.

Quote: "The specifics of the situation are that these are geographical features. The enemy there pulls up forces from the temporarily occupied territory, so they can afford to restore their reserves even after we inflict damage...
Nevertheless, we continue our combat work. As soon as the results are available, we will report on it. For now, this military operation is in silent mode."
Details: According to Humeniuk, this territory is surrounded by water, so this region "is not powerful enough to withstand a large concentration of troops."
In addition, now even the weather is on the side of Ukraine: "at these times, it is usually very stormy there. And it is impossible to hold on, even to just stand in one spot. Very powerful winds, storms, even nature washes away and drains the enemy from this land."
Humeniuk calls bad weather on the Kinburn spit an "advantage" for Ukraine.
According to the representative of the Operational Command Pivden (South), control over the spit will secure the grain corridor from the Port of Mykolaiv.
She called on international partners to pay attention to the Port of Mykolaiv and help guarantee the safety of vessels that will leave there.
Background:
- On 14 November, Natalia Humeniuk, spokeswoman for the press centre of the Operational Command Pivden (South), noted the following regarding the Kinburn spit: "this is now a zone of active military operations, so we are silent about this now, so that there is something to talk about later".
- The head of the Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, said that the entire territory of the oblast, except for the Kinburn spit, was liberated from Russian invaders.
